It has come to our attention that APB Reloaded is going open beta soon!
They need to fix with some finalizing stuff in game, and a lot of work with the EU servers.
But they hope to get it all fixed soon.

They also promised that everyone that applied to the closed beta will get early access, that would be ahead of everyone else applying for the open beta!

If you registered your e-mail at GamersFirst's APB site, you should check your mailbox for an invite. Just don't get to eager and register tons of e-mails.

And also remember that these are American, the EU invites will come later.
Our whole team and staff registered, so we hope that at least one of use get it to test it out!

One can always hope to get one, right?

Hello again, we on JunkieGamer are bringing you some more news on APB Reloaded.
These are just the changes they recently made for the third stage of the beta:

General

* Fixed server performance spikes in in death camera code (should remove most remaining server-lag spikes).

* Removed client and server frame times from latency calculation to better estimate network latency and response (can be seen using /fps and /fpsdetail).

* Added new HUD markers and text to distinguish between tainted and fresh targets (i.e. graffiti points that you need to guard vs. graffiti points that you have sprayed).

"We've just released 20 new types of infected into the streets of Fairview. This pack of enemies is comprised of 13 special infected and 7 huge bosses! Unlike the previous set of infected, these new zombies have some mean special abilities and will take some real tactics to defeat.

As you might have heard;
APB is going to be re-released, as APB Reloaded.
GamersFirst bought the rights and is developing it now, and it's currently in closed beta.
GF made the game F2P, so there might just be much more players than in the old version.

They sent beta keys to people that registered their e-mail on the site, but they recently released 5000 new keys.
I have heard that it's going to be released this summer for anyone to play.
